School District General Information

Chapel Hill and Carrboro, with surrounding areas of southeastern Orange County, are in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School District.

The remaining area is in the Orange County School District. Students who live in the part of Chapel Hill that extends into Durham County attend Durham County Schools.
