United Way 2-1-1, a 24-hour, 7 days/week information and referral service, may be reached by dialing 211 or 1-888-892-1162 (M-F, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m) if calling from a cell phone. Bilingual and confidential. Database of 2,200 programs and services including: child and after-school care, counseling, disabilities, emergency shelter, financial help, food & clothing, health care, housing, job training, senior programs and eldercare, substance abuse, support groups, transportation, youth programs.
